I speak to HR professionals & hiring managers daily who are struggling to fill jobs. According to a recent article on LinkedIn.com top talent is generally not looking for a new role just for more money. The most common reason talent wants to move on is because they no longer feel challenged making it more difficult for a hiring manager who is looking for someone who has already done the job they need to fill. In my view, the way to entice top talent is to offer them the chance to learn something new. Additionally, these motivated individuals are looking for professional development opportunities, a collegial team and the chance to work for a strong leader.
